Beer and Books

Kegedonce Press and Black Bellows Brewing are proud to present Beer and Books at Heartwood Hall in Owen Sound, featuring authors Kateri Akiwenzie-Damm and Nathan Adler.

Join us as we share poetry and prose by local Indigenous authors, and learn about Black Bellows’ popular brews.

Kateri Akiwenzie-Damm is a poet, writer, and spoken word artist from Neyaashiinigmiing. She is also the founder of Kegedonce Press, Ontario’s only dedicated Indigenous Publisher.

Nathan Adler, who lives in Mono, Ontario, published his Indigenous monster novel, Wrist, with Kegedonce in 2016.

Black Bellows Brewing will also be on hand to talk about their White and Amber beers!

Beer and Books is a showcase for local literary and brewing talent! Come join the party October 14, and receive a free Kegedonce book with your ticket. A cash bar will also be available.
