Bry Webb with Long Branch

Live in Owen Sound for the first time!

Bry Webb is the lead singer of The Constantines. He has released three LPs under his own name, which are sparse, moody and gentle things, compared to the bombast of the Cons. He will be joined by lap steel guitarist Rich Burnett and experimental hurdy gurdy player Ben Grossman for this loving, if subtly psychedelic, folk music performance.

Long Branch explores the dark edges of the city and the country from Parkdale to Honey Harbour with a sound that touches on country, folk, psych, rock, and punk. Layers of guitars, fiddle and vocal harmonies form the core of Long Branch’s sound. The band includes past and present members of the Good Family, Shadowy Men on a Shadowy Planet, Phono-Comb, Venus Cures All, Chicken Milk, and Adaptor 45. The band is currently in the studio working on a full-length debut, following last year’s release of its “Lucky Me” 7″ single.
