Live The Dash is a new project headed by Paul Woolner featuring original roots material, backed up by some of Grey-Bruce county’s most seasoned touring musicians, including guitarist Roger Williamson.
They have just recorded a five song EP and will be promoting the CD release at Heartwood Hall! The ticket price includes the new album CD!
After opening for Paul Riddick & The Sidemen at the Mazelpalooza Festival in the Beaver Valley, and a couple of well received performances at the Garafraxa Café, the band is looking forward to bringing their roots and blues material to the Heartwood Hall stage.
Paul has recorded and performed with the likes of Gary Craig and John Dymond (Blackie & The Rodeo Kings), Chris Whitley and Paul Chapman. Members of the backing group have toured with The MacKenzie Blues Band and Al Lerman (Fathead), among many others.
The band’s name is a reference to remember that between our arrival and our inevitable departure, often represented as a dash between dates, we can strive to celebrate and take advantage of the gift that life gives us.
