The Lifers, Oh Geronimo and Greg Smith
The Lifers’ velvety harmony draws a uniqueness that can only be heard when sisters Liv and Anita Cazzola sing together. Their intertwined voices cradled in accordion, guitar, ukulele, cello, upright bass, and percussion both tenderly and aggressively tell their stories. With a cross-Canada tour, EP “Set the Sails” and single “Home for the Weekend” under their belts, this Guelph folk duo released their first LP “Out and In” in February, 2016.
Oh Geronimo is a project that provides an escape from the daily rigours of adult life. In order to fully express ourselves, we ignore all of the distractions and freefall into the moment. After the release of our debut 7-inch and an East Coast Canadian tour, from Toronto to Newfoundland and back, we released our debut full-length album, ‘Sleep Rhythms’, in March 2016. Since then, Oh Geronimo was selected as one of the top 25 National Finalists in the CBC Searchlight 2016 competition. Oh Geronimo is excited to explore the many roads yet travelled.
Greg Smith is a story-based songwriter from Meaford Ontario. Each and every song he writes is a well-crafted piece that reveals a bit more of the bigger picture. Story based writing discussing life, love and the great balance of everything.
