Join us again this year for a fun festive Sunday afternoon brunch at Parkwood featuring John and Robert playing your jazzy Christmas favourites. There will be  songs from A Charlie Brown Christmas, Jingle Bell Rock, The Christmas Song, Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas, all arranged in a festive jazzy swing (and Latin) Christmas spirit.  It was a full house last year so get your tickets early. 
Robert “Jazz”idlo Gasidlo is a professional jazz pianist who has been performing for over 50 years. He is an award-winning graduate of the respected Humber College Jazz Music Program and has performed extensively in the Georgian Bay area since moving here in 2000. Robert’s musical experience is extremely diverse and he has performed a wide variety of styles with many different bands. He is also a piano technician (tuning/repairs) and music teacher (guitar/piano).

John Macmurchy : 

John MacMurchy is a performer, composer and recording artist based in Toronto. A woodwind player, John concentrates on clarinet, tenor saxophone and baritone saxophone and is fluent in jazz and classical repertoire. He has released four full length records to critical acclaim and international airplay. John has worked with international artists as varied as Warren Vache, Howard Alden, Guido Basso, Henry Mancini, Cleo Laine, Linda Ronstadt, Carol Channing, Peter Appleyard, John Dankworth as well as being in demand as a sideman on the Toronto scene.
