Host Daniel Shaw @friendship_dan : Collingwood local and stand-up comedian Daniel Shaw has been performing across Canada for the better part of a decade. From comedy clubs to theatres, and festivals, Daniel’s disarmingly absurd views on life and parenting has kept audiences laughing and slightly concerned. He has shared the stage with many of Canada’s greatest comedians such as Kenny vs Spenny, Scott Thompson, Rick Mercer, and K Trevor Wilson, and now it is time for him to blossom and find his own path, or at least a way to escape his toddler for an evening.

Jesse Ralph @Jesseralphjokes : Jesse Ralph has performed at The Laugh Factory in LA, The House of Comedy in BC and a gas station in northern Ontario. In 2023, he performed at Just For Laughs Toronto as part of Mike Rita’s 420 Show. Jesse has roasted the morning show on 102.1 The Edge and the hosts of SiriusXM NHL Radio.

Franny Wisp and her Washboard @fran.bouman.5  : Franny Wisp is the alter ego of Fran Bouwman, an accomplished sculptor whose work has been displayed in the Meaford Hall gallery.  It is eye-catching and clever with a touch of humour.  Franny Wisp draws on other aspects of her talents.  The character of Franny Wisp, who accompanies herself on the washboard, draws on her past history in theatre.  The fact that she worked primarily in puppetry explains a lot.  That form of performance allowed her to use her skills as a sculptor and this character she inhabits as Franny allows Fran the artist to pull the strings.  Having also played in a jazz trio, music is a natural element in this incarnation.  And humour, always as she says, “my best medicine”, is the spark that brings the stories to life.

Drew Behm @drewbehm : Drew Behm is a stand up comedian who grew up in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada and now makes his home in Toronto, ON. In 2021, Drew was named one of the 10 New Faces of Comedy at the Just For Laughs festival in Montreal. Drew has made appearances at the Halifax Comedy Festival, JFL42 in Toronto, the Hubcap Comedy Festival, and was a finalist in Sirius XM Canada’s Top Comic. As a writer, Drew’s satire has been featured on the CBC’s Comedy website and The Hard Times Magazine. Drew’s debut comedy album “GNARLY” was released in September 2018 on all platforms.
