Alex is the banjo player, singer, and songwriter for two beloved Iowa groups (Flash in a Pan, Dodge Street Duo). His lyrics are thoughtful and akin to the works of songwriters like John Prine. His banjo playing is tender and thoughtful. If you love literature then Alex’s music is for you.

— James Nowak —
James is a writer and a performing storyteller from Wellington County. He lives and makes things just outside of Eden Mills, Ontario. If you are a lover of the english language then you’ll love hearing James tell a story and recite a poem.

— River Glen Band —
River was born at home in Dubuque, Iowa (USA) and grew up performing in a family band. River’s original music is lyrically-driven and blends elements of folk, pop, rock, blues, and hip-hop. River’s live performances are becoming more and more like musical nourishment for the soul. For this performance River will be supported by Brian Scarth (electric guitar), Randy Martin (bass), and Steve Morel (drums).
