Blue Water Jazz Collective v2 – High Energy Modern Music

Join us for an exciting jazz performance that brings a bold, high-energy approach to iconic jazz standards.

BWJCv2: Stu Steinhart (Bass & Arrangements), Jason Hunter (Tenor Saxophone), Rob Gasidlo (Piano & Organ), Stephen Wood (Drums).

The repertoire spans timeless works by Henry Mancini, Rodgers & Hart, Duke Ellington, and George Gershwin, alongside modern classics by Herbie Hancock and Wayne Shorter, and featuring an original composition by Stu Steinhart.

Guided by Steinhart’s re-imagined arrangements, the music travels boldly across styles—moving from hard-driving up-tempo swing and lyrical 3/4 jazz waltzes, through Afro-Latin and samba grooves, into the charged intensity of funk and rock, gritty blues shuffles, and a special original hip-hop feature.

Virtuosic improvisation and deep musical interplay anchor Blue Water Jazz Collective’s bold, contemporary sound.
