The Frequencies are a newly formed rock band delivering driving rhythms, strong hooks, and seasoned musicianship, debuting live at the Parkwood on February 21, 2026.
While the band itself is new, its members are far from it, bringing decades of live performance experience and a shared focus on tight, high-energy shows built for real rooms and real crowds.
Based in the Grey, Bruce, and Simcoe tri-county region, The Frequencies draw from deep local roots and a background in well-established regional and broader Southern Ontario acts.
The lineup includes Rick Tourlousse (lead vocals), formerly of Second Glance and Flashback; David Russell (lead guitar & vocals), formerly of The Rockefellers; Kevin Dougan (drums), formerly of Almost Hip; and Dan McArthur (bass), formerly of Second Glance and Breakwater Blues Band. Each member brings a strong performance pedigree, blending a classic rock edge with a modern punch on hits from the 70s through to today.
The result is a band that hits the ground running, tight, confident, and built to connect with audiences from the first song to the last.
